How can you dry up a Samsung Beat cell phone after washing it in the laundry machine?
My son had recently left his cell phone in his pocket, and washed it in the laundry. He then attempted to charge it while it was still wet. And, most likely it short circuited. Can someone tell me how to fix this? I’ve tried to dry it in the oven. But still didn’t work/
hope you have insurance. not even the old rice trick will cure this mess. sure, it may be worth a try, but if you charged it and put it in the oven, i am pretty sure there is nothing that can be done. and if you have insurance, i doubt it covers water damage. just take the battery out. that is the most important thing. then take as much of the paneling off as possible without voiding the warranty. put it all in rice for a week or so and let it dry. and check pockets before you do the laundry next time…
